Pumpkin Patch

Thanks Becky for the cute pictures you send me! She sent one of me in the pumpkin patch too but I'd just come from the gym (swimming) and I looked like a drowned rat.
Our neighbors have this ginormous pumpkin patch in their yard that they let all the neighbors come and get pumpkins out of each year. While I was talking to one of my friends, my kids picked 29 pumpkins. Great!! We've got a lot of carving to do...

Ode to Oakley

Today is Oakley's 3rd birthday so I'd like to take this opportunity to tell her and you how much I love this little stinker. She has been, since the second she was born, the biggest pill on the planet. I tell people all the time she'd better use all this sassiness for something great like being the first female President of the United States. Through all the threats of putting her up for adoption or selling her on Ebay, I wouldn't have her any other way...

LOVE YOU BABY DOLL!!

.
What a cheesy grin this is! Oakley playing Pioneer Games while we were in Nauvoo.

I'm patiently waiting for this stage to pass. Oakley changes her clothes 8-9 times a day and after picking this mess up that many times, I finally give up.
She drags it down the hall and all over the house.

Then we usually end up with some crazy mismatched outfit like this (and this is actually one of the better ones she's come up with!

The Safety Fair

How cool is this picture of Zach at the Safety Fair on Monday? The Provo Fire Department ignited an enormous fire and then put it out right in front of us. If you've never gone, it's actually worth the time and effort. It's down in the parking lot of Dillard's at the Provo Towne Center.

Oakley was mesmerized by the puppet show the Provo City Librarians put on.

They even gave her a "Dora" book and had popcorn during the storytelling. Could you ask for anything more??
