The 2008 Utah County Walk to Cure Diabetes

A sigh of relief is heard throughout the Pinegar household. The Walk is over and although we are a bit off of our target goal of $220K (we are at $187K and donations are still coming in), I think it was a success. Here are a few pictures of the fun...

We Did It! THANKS Everyone!!

The Yard Sale went really, really well thanks to all of you friends, neighbors and ward members. We had a HUGE turn out and the big ticket items went fast (bikes, dressers and desks). We raised over $1100.00!! For a weeks worth of work (albeit HARD work) that is very much worth it! So, no rest for the weary, right?? Keep a box in your garage marked "Diabetes" and keep stuff for me for next year.

The Walk is this Saturday, September 20th at the Orem, Scera Park. (701 S. State Street). Registration begins at 8:30am, Walk begins at 9:30am. There is food, games, face painting, rock wall, and a ton of fun, so please come join us.

Yard Sale to Benefit the 2008 Utah County Walk to Cure Diabetes!

Wanna donate your D.I. pile to a great cause? We are having a HUGE multi-family Yard Sale this Saturday, September 13th, 2008 from 7:00am-12:00pm at 794 North 900 East in Provo. All the proceeds will be donated to the 2008 Utah County Walk to Cure Diabetes which is the following Saturday. We are hoping to raise $1000.00 (or more!). I will come to your house and pick up your donations (within reason). If you are in the neighborhood, you can leave your donations in my garage anytime before Friday night. We'll take any donation you have! Let's make this a huge success! THANKS!!!

LAKE POWELL-Best Place in the World!

Okay, so it's been three weeks since we got home from Lake Powell and I'm just now blogging about it. It was so much fun! The highlights of Lake Powell this year are as follows:
1. My NEW favorite thing: DEATH TUBING!! Monique knocked me off three times and I finally knocked her off by playing dirty and pulling the bottoms of her swim suit off. I peed the tube like 5 times I was laughing so hard. (Yes, too much information).
2. Family trip to Rainbow Bridge. Where are the pictures you ask? Well, dont.
3. The yummy dinners and all the junk food.
4. Ray and his Ding Dongs. (The dessert you sick-os!)
5. Frog and Lizard hunting.
