Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself...

You know, I seem to have an excess of "Durr" in my life. For instance, yesterday I left the house without my bra on and the day before that I forgot to brush my teeth before leaving for church. DURR!! Well, again today I had another "Durr Moment". Explanation: I swim on Tuesdays at the gym. It seems to me that there are many more MEN that swim than woman. I was the only woman swimming for the entire hour I was there. For the first 20 minutes I had a lane all to myself (bliss). Then the rest of the time I had to share my lane with men. At the end of my swim, I pulled myself out of the pool and happened to look down and see a seam in my crotch. "What?" I thought. So I started looking around and realized that I had my swimming suit on inside out the entire time...the tag sticking out the back and everything. So, my thought for the day is: Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself (along with everyone else in my case!)

You totally make me laugh!!! I am so glad I am not alone in the "Durr" moments!! I had a swimming Durr moment at my gym not to long ago. I brought my tank top swimming suit in my gym bag, went to change in the dressing room, had put the top on only to realize there was no bottom of swim suit in my bag. I really wanted to swim and tried to figure out a way but ended up driving home saying "DURR!!!!!!" all the way home. We give up our brains when we have children and it is all worth it, is it not???

HAha well at the very least you made me laugh! I am glad to know that I am not the only person who is like that at times. I cant begin to tell you the weird things I do. My latest was turning on the bathroom sink, forgetting about it, later my husband finds our bathroom and hallway flooded. Oh best part is we are in a condo on the 2nd floor. Heaven help us “crazy moms”!!!
